Our short course on Investigating & Preparing for Disciplinary Hearings will equip delegates with the knowledge to understand the correct procedures and requirements for fair and lawful dismissals as set out by the Labour Relations Act. This half day online course is intended for ER & HR Professionals, Managers, Supervisors, Union Reps & Chairpersons

The Code of Good Practice – an overview of the CGP in relation to dismissals
Types of Dismissals – understanding unlawful, unfair & automatically unfair dismissals and resignations
Dismissals for Misconduct – understanding the rules for dismissals due to misconduct as set out by the Code
Procedures for Dismissals – an overview of the steps and procedures required for fair dismissals
Types of Misconduct – understanding the various types of misconduct for dismissals as set out by the CGP and LRA
Disciplinary Hearing Evidence – understanding sources and types of evidence and their admissibility in a Hearing
Misconduct Investigation – understanding how to investigate allegations of misconduct and which records to keep
Chairing a Hearing – a basic step-by-step guide for Disciplinary Hearing Chairpersons
Requirements for a Hearing – an overview of the necessary notices and forms required for a Disciplinary Hearing
Q&A Session
